Loxford Ward
Jamshed Nawaz
J amshed Nawaz has lived in Loxford for 30 years. He is married and has
a son. He took over his fathers local business and has been managing it for
the last five years. Jamshed has been actively involved in the community and
has concerns about local representation. He stood for local elections in May
2006.
On joining Liberal Democrat, Jamshed said "Both Tory and Labour Parties
have failed to address the issues and concerns of local people. On the other
hand Liberal Democrats have grass root policies such as crime reduction,
cleaner and greener neighbourhoods and involve local residents in
decision making process. Loxford Ward has suffered for a long
change of direction. My main priority is to work with local residents, the
Council and Police to handle crime and high Anti Social Behaviour in
Loxford Ward".

Web Site Administrators
Anthony Boyland
I was born in the Cotswold village of Welford on Avon, just outside Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. The most beautiful shire in England!
I was useless at school except for sports and science but later gained Higher National Diplomas in HF Communications, Digital Electronics and Computer Science from South Birmingham Polytechnic. So I was good at applied mathematics but absolute rubbish at spelling. Ok nothing has changed there then!
I started working for BT, around 1973, and was based just south of Aberdeen managing Ship to Shore radiotelephony and Oilrig telemetry systems around the coastal radio stations and mountaintops of Scotland, Orkneys, Shetlands and Hebrides. What a fantastic job that was.
Then I transferred to London on a promotion in 1984 to manage a Software development team. That's when I discovered the joys of the diabolical London commuter service. In all this time nothing has changed there either!
I retired from BT in 2000.
I was elected as a Liberal Democrat Councillor for L.B.Redbridge (Roding Ward) 1998 - 2005 and as Deputy Mayor in year 1999-2000. Working for the local comunity was most rewarding but 8 years of bashing my head against a stupid Tory administration was long enough. Nothing seems to have changed there either.
Out of a blue I got a job in 2002 as a Court Clerk at Snaresbrook Crown Court. If anyone is interested, that is a really interesting job in lots of ways. The staff has fantastic camaraderie, but considering the workload and serious responsibility involved, the pay is a disgrace.
In Dec 2006 I moved back to Scotland and set up my own company as a Software Engineer in the beautiful Highland village of Beauly, Inverness-shire, where I can work from home and enjoy the Scottish fresh air.
Life just gets better and better up here, especially away from the fruitcake Tory's who either don't exist up here, or wouldn't dare admit it!
Oh and I remotely administer this web site.
